What kind of work is at the bases?

  

 

 

Within the Sar El system, there are many different jobs. The kind of work done, will depend on what kind of base you are assigned to. Sar El will pick a base for you and which one, will be a complete surprise until you are delivered to the base. On the two bases I worked at, one was a general supply base and the other was a medical supply base. At some bases, the volunteers work on covering heavy equipment with heavy tarps while at another base, they may be repairing communications equipment.  The majority of the volunteers really had good attitudes about the work, and always showed a willingness to help each other when the task required teamwork.
