The accommodations are a bit different at each base. The one thing that the bases share is that the accommodations can be best described as "spartan" or "simple". Some have air conditioning, some don't. I have done a lot of camping in my life, and it prepared me well for the Sar El experience. On one base, we shared our room with regular soldiers and on another, we volunteers had our own compound.
